Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 1.86%.
The best performers of the session on the were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.75% or 5.50 points to trade at 205.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:) added 2.63% or 34.00 points to end at 1,328.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was up 2.40% or 16.40 points to 699.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 1.31% or 4.40 points to trade at 330.30 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) added 0.18% or 0.20 points to end at 98.80 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was up 0.20% or 1.60 points to 794.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 40 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted AS (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.31% or 4.40 to 330.30. Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:) rose to all time highs; up 2.63% or 34.00 to 1,328.50.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.21% or 0.84 to $70.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.08% or 0.79 to hit $73.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 20.54 to trade at $2,633.36 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 107.75.
